I was married for six years before we were blessed with our first child, Maureen. Two years later, our second reception of life's generosity was a boy, Patrick.
My life would have been so empty without their birthparents gifting me.
Now the ‘kids’ are 41 and 40. On their birthdays I always say a ‘thank you’ prayer, particularly to their birthmothers. What a gift they gave us.
Now my daughter and her husband have continued the path with another gift; they received Judy from the Philippines five years ago.
